Message to clientsIf you are new to therapy, I know the process can be anxiety producing but I am here to walk you through the initial steps. If you are starting therapy again after a break, I am glad that you are starting again. Every client will start the therapy process with a brief phone call. During this phone call we will discuss the reasons that you are seeking services and what your primary concerns are. This helps ensure that I as therapist am able to properly address your concerns and that we are a good fit. I will then send you an email with intake paperwork which you are expected to complete before our initial session. During our initial session, we will discuss your concerns more in depth and begin to collaboratively develop your treatment plan goals, and identify they ways that therapy can be of support to you, not only in healing wounds but also in overcoming life’s daily struggles.
