Hello! I'm Dr. Shelly! I've been helping people for 20 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have 2 Masters degrees, one in Human Communication and one in Counseling, and a Doctorate in Psychology. I'm not a Psychologist, only a professor of Psychology. I'm also a Clinically Certified Hypnotherapist. I enjoy counseling online because my clients feel comfortable visiting me in their own spaces. I've raised 3 beautiful, (inside and out) children, who have their own happy families, and each has given me 2 grandsons. Now one of my grandsons has given me a great grandson and great granddaughter. (Finally, a girl!) My husband of 27 years calls me a renaissance woman because I've tried it all, done it all, and still enjoy learning. I've been a business owner twice, one was a fitness company and one was a private practice. I have taught middle school, high school and college level students. I have been a counselor at colleges, high schools, middle schools and elementary schools, and just 3 1/2 years ago tackled my bucket list and became a Realtor. My husband saw how much fun I was having so became a Realtor also! We are now The SPeed(y) Team with Keller Williams Realty. I realized that my skills were still needed as a counselor, so got back into helping people via online therapy.
