As a Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust for over 16 years, I have specialised in diagnosing and treating structural heart disease, heart valve disease, aortic disease, and cardio-oncology issues. I have 14 years leadership experience in the Echocardiography service at Harefield Hospital, overseeing all modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including 3D, transthoracic and transoesophageal, complex echo, transcranial doppler, and peri- and intraoperative echo. In addition to my clinical practice, I have been involved in medical education, research, and programme management. I have published multiple papers on cardiovascular imaging, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac oncology, and I have lectured at national and international conferences and courses. I am now a Medical Informatics Officer in the GSTT Apollo programme, engaged in the biggest Epic EHR deployment in the UK - 6 NHS sites, including three tertiary centres and almost 33000 staff. I manage projects and programmes related to service improvement, quality assurance, and digital transformation, with a specialist knowledge of cardiology and cardiothoracic services. In Sept 2023 I started a PG Dip in Digital Health Leadership with Imperial College, London My mission is to provide the best possible care and outcomes for my patients, and to advance the field of cardiology through innovation and collaboration.
