I believe you don't need to be in crisis to access counselling. Seeing a therapist doesn't mean there's something 'wrong with you' it may be you feel now is the right time to work through your emotions; or to work through traumatic experiences.You may want to challenge your negative thinking patterns, or require clarity in some areas of your life. You may want to discuss something from the past that is impacting you now. It may be now is the right time for you to learn new techniques to help you to cope differently, or feel the time is right to focus on personal growth.I am trained in several different approaches which allows me to work as an integrative counsellor.
