If you are considering counselling for the first time or looking to return to sessions, my aim is always to offer a calm, supportive space for you to explore any issues you are facing. You may be ready to tackle these issues, or perhaps you’re apprehensive, confused or overwhelmed by the feelings you have. Either way, by reaching out you have already taken a brave and positive first step. My approach is person centred, which means my role is to help you gain a greater understanding of your experiences and how they may be impacting you. I won’t tell you what to do, but instead will listen and give you the space to talk openly, without fear of judgement. I welcome a broad range of adult clients, facing a wide range of issues. I also have experience working with young people aged 16 and over and have training in working with survivors of domestic abuse. Student and trainee counsellors are also welcome, with concessional rates available.I am fully qualified to MSc level, a registered member of the BACP and have previously worked for the NHS and in educational settings.
