I specialise in counselling adults who are suffering from a bereavement or other significant loss.Grief can feel over-whelming and never-ending. It can be a very lonely place to be, especially when (well-meaning) family members and friends want you to “move on” or “get over it” and hurry up and get back to being the person you were before the loss. If only it was that easy.Loss can leave you with a roller coaster of powerful emotions at any time, which can feel destabilising. I can be a safe pair of hands to help you process your grief. I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental space and walk with you while you explore your grief, however it looks, however long it takes. I will be led by you and go at your pace.I’m in my 50’s and like many people my age I have experienced a range of major life transitions and personal loss. Through my counselling over the years, I’ve seen how there are significant events that happen that can feel like a bereavement, such as the loss of a relationship, job, or life changing illness. Sometimes we realise that a loss from the past is affecting our ability to get the most out of our life now. I can help you put things into perspective so that you can see a way forward.
