www.pathwayscounsellingcornwall.co.ukI have an M.A. in Psychotherapy. I've been in private practice for 23 years. I see clients in a peaceful garden room at my home in Mylor Bridge near Falmouth. Over the years I have worked with clients from many differing backgrounds and ages, and am experienced in helping with a wide range of human issues and concerns, all of which reflect life's complexity. Among these are depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, work-related problems, sexual abuse, self-esteem and identity issues, the mid-life passage, life choices and decision making, illness, ageing, dying, bereavement, the search for meaning, spiritual and religious concerns. There are often times in life when we may feel the need to share and work through our troubles safely with someone we can trust.I value each person as a unique individual, trying, like all of us, to live a fulfilling and authentic life as free as possible from suffering. My fundamental role is to offer confidentiality and non-judgemental respect; to accompany and support clients for a time on their life journey, while helping them to find their way through their difficulties and to access their own insight and wisdom. For those who are troubled with stress, anxiety and fear in its many forms, I offer specific help and healing. I am a registered accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and subject to this organisation’s code of ethics, complaint procedures and requirements for continuing professional development and supervision. Accredited means that individuals have achieved a substantial level of training and experience. I work with individuals long and short-term, with couples, and with counsellors in training. I also offer counselling supervision.
