Dr Ravish Mankragod provides a comprehensive Respiratory Service, both outpatient and inpatient care in Kent. Dr Mankragod is an experienced Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine appointed to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2006. Since that time, he has restructured the respiratory service as a Lead Clinician in Respiratory Medicine and Acute Oncology services. He is also a senior examiner for the Royal College of Physicians in London. Dr Mankragod manages all respiratory conditions and provides a comprehensive respiratory and sleep service with full diagnostics including full lung function testing, diagnostic flexible bronchoscopy under sedation, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) for staging lung cancer, sleep studies (polysomnography) and chest imaging including CT & MRI scanning and thoracic ultrasound. He also looks after patients with respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia and pleural effusion as an inpatient within the private hospital setting. Clinical interests: Management of cough, diagnosis of lung cancer, sleep apnoea and sleep related breathing disorders, interstitial lung diseases, chest infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, DVT and pulmonary embolism (PE), bronchial asthma, COPD (Chronic Bronchitis & emphysema) and smoking related airway diseases, pleural diseases including asbestos related lung diseases such as Mesothelioma and occupational related lung diseases. .
