Mr Rashpal Bassi based in Macclesfield Hospital is an orthopaedic consultant who specialises in hand and wrist surgery.Mr Bassi began his medical education at Cambridge University and London Hospital Medical College graduating with a Bachelors in medicine and surgery. He began his orthopaedic specialisation in Liverpool, followed by an upper hand and limb fellowship at Wrightington Hospital and The Pulvertaft Hand Unit. In 2009 he was appointed Consultant finishing his training.Mr Bassi has an impressive publication history regularly publishing his work in well-known orthopaedic journals. He has also been invited to present his findings at conferences around the globe. Mr Bassi has a keen interest in improving the quality of care given to patients. He spent several years at Macclesfield Hospital as the Clinical Governance Lead in Orthopaedics, spending a further 2 years as Clinical Lead.
