I am a qualified, experienced counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space in which you can explore whatever brings you to counselling. It could be that there have been things that have troubled you for some time and which you now feel ready to think about in more depth. Maybe recent events have caused you to feel like you need some help to cope. Or perhaps you just don’t feel right and would like some space to explore why that may be.Talking with a skilled, impartial counsellor can help you find the words to make sense of your experiences and to better understand yourself. Taking time to think about what's going on will help you to find a way forward.About meI hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from The Counselling Centre in Tunbridge Wells, where I continue to work as a senior counsellor. I also have experience working within the NHS in pre and postnatal mental health, and as part of the counselling team at West Kent Mind. I have worked with people across a variety of areas including anxiety, depression, relationship breakdown, bereavement, trauma and abuse. I also specialise in working during pregnancy, following childbirth and into early parenthood. I take my commitment to ensuring the quality and development of my practice very seriously and undertake regular further training. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, whose ethical framework I adhere to.
