I enjoy helping children and families work together through challenges faced at school and home. I feel many obstacles can eventually be looked upon as a catalyst for growth especially in the areas of resiliency and confidence. I have a true understanding of the needs of children in the school setting. I like to use practical ways to involve the child in being an active participant in therapy and work closely with the parents to tailor a plan that best fits their unique needs. I enjoy working with families who face the unique challenges children with special needs face along with their siblings.If requested, I will incorporate a faith based approach with children and families. I have a strong sense of 'being' with my clients and genuinely care for them to live their best life.I feel whatever challenges you may be facing, there are ways to look at them through a different lens. We all need a safe place to share and I hope to be given that opportunity.
