Together we will work towards making you feel like yourself again.My training is in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and I have worked mainly in workplace and university settings. I have extensive knowledge of the mental health sector, am a Mental Health First Aider and am trained in supporting people in the aftermath of a critical incident at work. My style takes a modern approach, based on rigorous training at the Metanoia Institute in London. The training was built on key historical thinkers in psychotherapy as well as more recent research on trauma and its impact. In practice this means we talk about how you are in the world right now, and what old, unhelpful patterns from the past might be finding their way into your life.
