Hello, my name is Nasra Warsame and I am an Integrative Therapist. Working from an integrative approach means that my work will be tailored to your individual needs and difficulties. I draw on techniques from a variety of different approaches, including Person-Centred, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I believe that human beings are inherently good and have the capacity to move towards growth and reach their full potential. However, this ability can sometimes become distorted by certain life experiences which can have a negative effect on a person’s sense of self-value. My aim is to understand your experiences from your own perspective and value and respect you in all parts of your humanity. I believe that each individual is unique and has the potential to find the answers they are looking for within themselves. Therefore, I work from a position where I can allow you to take the lead, and a willingness on my part to meet you where you are psychologically, emotionally and experientially. I provide a warm, genuine, honest and empathic space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Together we can discuss what might be holding you back and explore ways to help you move towards a better understanding of yourself.
