Ms Gos is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society with a specialty in mental health problems, trauma, addiction and existential crisis / angst. Having developed a wide range of experience, she works individually with clients, consults staff and teams, provides supervision and specialist training for clinicians. She qualified in Clinical Psychology in Poland before further studying Relational Psychoanalysis, Body Oriented Therapy and Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy in New York, USA. She has a specialist interest in cutting edge brain/body therapies, such as Brainspotting and EMDR, as well as relational and experiential therapies. She is a Brainspotting Trainer and supervisor and teaches Brainspotting internationally. Monika has a private practice in London and works internationally online, where she provides psychotherapy for clients suffering from attachment issues and trauma. Brainspotting brings together all the aspects promoting instant neuroplasticity, can heal trauma effectively bringing a relief and a sense of deep connection with oneself. She has trained and practised in both Europe and USA. Monika provides training and consultation to Health Trusts and one of the largest charities in the UK. She is also a guest lecturer at the Royal College of Psychiatry and the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, she was a professional violinist and now she especially enjoys working with artists and music performers to further enhance their performance.
