MSc Occupational Therapy Student with a passion for supporting and developing people of all backgrounds and abilities. I completed my first placement was a physical placement within Orthopaedic Outpatients, with a particular focus in hand therapy. My second placement was a leadership placement with Sheffield Hallam University which involved me supporting the process of putting together the Universities first BSc and MSc Occupational Therapy on campus placement, and BSc Physiotherapy Simulation placement. I also put together a simulation placement website to inform placement educators, lecturers, and students as to what a simulation placement is, and what it involves. In my spare time I regularly deliver as a Coach Developer on behalf of British Fencing, delivering courses nation wide to educational groups, scout groups, sport industry, and to those on British Fencing's Muslim Girls Fence project. I am also the Workforce Development Lead for British Fencing/Maslaha's Muslim Girls Fence Project. The project is one of British Fencing's sport for social change national programmes. Enabling me to deliver to coaches nationally who deliver on the project, and work more closely with coaches from Bradford, Doncaster, Birmingham, and London. I have also mentored coaches to become coach developers for the Muslim Girls Fence project, and other British Fencing projects. I have completed a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement in order to assess fencers undertaking a Diploma in Sporting Excellence on British Fencing's Athlete Development Programme. I previously worked as a Schools Sports Coordinator, with a demonstrated history of working to further develop disability, inclusive, and unified physical education, school sport, events, and festivals at intra school to regional level. I 9worked predominantly in a variety of specialist schools, with children with severe learning disabilities, profound an9/d multiple learning disabilities, children and young people with communication difficulties, autism, those with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, and those with mental health conditions. In addition I assisted schools in the delivery of b6ronze, silver, gold, and platinum Duke of Edinburgh /awards. Acquired a first class honours in BSc Sport Coaching from Sheffield Hallam University.
