Dr Isaac has completed his postgraduate psychiatric training at Guy's scheme. He had training in Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Liaison, Substance Misuse, Community Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. His Specialist Training in Old Age and General Adult Psychiatry was through South London and the Maudsley NHS, Guy's Scheme, which he completed in 2006. He adopts a person centred and holistic approach with values of respect ensuring privacy and dignity of his patients. He works with patients their carers and other professionals to deliver the best care for patients to enable them to achieve better quality of life using biological, psychological and social interventions in a bio-psycho-social model of care. Dr Isaac holds an academic appointment as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). He has taught in modules organised by the postgraduate institute and in local academic programmes. He is part of the group organising and delivering the Sussex MRCPsych part I and part II Course. Dr Isaac has special interest in Adult and Old Age mood disorder, Alcohol and drug addiction, Anxiety disorder; Perinatal Psychiatry and Psychosis. He is also interested in suicide prevention, cognitive impairment and dementia management and research
