Dr Hema Ananth is a Consultant Psychiatrist, dual qualified in both Old Age and General Adult Psychiatry. She is based in London and Hertfordshire and has practices at The Priory and Harley Street and also undertakes home visits and remote/virtual consultations. Dr Ananth is a Specialist in the management of memory problems and dementia. She routinely does medicolegal assessments. She treats both younger and older adults with psychiatric conditions including anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. She was elected to Fellow of The Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2012 for recognition of her contribution to Psychiatry. Dr Ananth regularly trains Doctors, Health Professionals and also Medical Students from Cambridge. She is a senior dual accredited Psychiatrist, well published and recently completed a Masters in Health Education. She is the Secretary of the Psychiatry Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and sits on the Examination Panel at the Royal College of Psychiatrists Dr Ananth works closely with a number of experienced therapists, combining medication with psychological treatment.
