Started off doing pharmacy stores for a full time job after I wasn't interested in finishing college. Best move I ever made as it set me up on my career path. I took the offer of student pharmacy tech and when I went back to college in my 20s and had a blast as a more mature student studying something I was really interested in. Passed and then became a member of the general pharmaceutical Council and got a rotational tech job in the trust I trained in and put everything I had learned in the last 2 years as a student into practice as a registered technician. After a few years I became a locum and worked in various hospitals around England which was amazing visiting and staying in new towns and cities and making new friends along the way that I still keep in touch with. I managed to complete the 3 peaks challenge whilst working at St helier hospital in 2016 in order to raise money for some new equipment which was amazing and especially as I had the chance to visit Scotland. In Feb 2017 I had a chance to go work in Scotland on a locum contract and fell in love with the place to the extent I took a pay cut and am currently working there as a rotational technician.
