Mike is a renowned Consultant ENT Surgeon with more than 18 years experience as an Ear nose and Throat Surgeon(ENT) in the South East. He brings an expert, modern and professional approach to his patients and aims to make the consultation as straightforward and as easy as possible. He trained at centres of excellence in London in both ENT and Plastic surgery. He complimented this extensive training by winning scholarships to work and learn with leading surgeons in France, Germany and America. He undertook his research thesis at the University of Sussex and the Royal Society of Medicine subsequently awarded him their Otology prize for this body of work. He has published widely on a number of topics including balloon sinuplasty, rhinoplasty, facial surgery and antibiotic-associated hearing loss Mike is Consultant ENT Surgeon to the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals and Senior Lecturer to Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He has a special interest in diseases of the nose in both adults and children. He practices at hospitals throughout Sussex and Surrey. He maintains an active involvement in rhinoplasty and conditions of the nose and travels internationally to learn the new techniques and stay at the forefront of modern nose surgery. He has recently championed balloon sinuplasty as a significant advance in the management of sinus disease. Outside of work he is a keen family man and also enjoys skiing, travel and art.
