Mr Strachan is a Consultant Ear Nose & Throat Surgeon with a special interest in Otology (ear disease) and Rhinology (Nasal disease). He was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Bradford Royal Infirmary in February 2000 and prior to that had trained in the Yorkshire Regional Rotation with 2 specialist training fellowships in France (Bordeaux, Cannes & Nancy). Mr Strachan is one of the regional Cochlear Implant surgeons (surgery for profoundly deaf patients) and sees patients from all over the North of England. With regard to nasal surgery he has had specialist training and developed extensive expertise in Rhinoplasty surgery (both cosmetic and functional) and FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) for sinus disease. He has presented his experience at meetings all over the world and publishes regularly in peer reviewed journals.
