Dr. Max Maisel is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Redondo Beach. Dr. Maisel offers morning, daytime, evening, and weekend appointments. He sees clients in person or through teletherapy when appropriate. He specializes in using mindfulness and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help people heal from anxiety disorders, overwhelming stress, OCD, and depression. His approach is gentle, warm, and active in the therapy room. In addition to his private practice, he does contract work for residential treatment facilities to provide anxiety and OCD treatment to clients needing more specialized help. He is also passionate about providing training seminars and supervision to psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows.Dr. Maisel takes an integrative approach to therapy, and will tailor the treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual client.
