I have been practising as a Consultant Ophthalmologist with special interest in Vitreoretinal Surgery in Hull for over 12 years. I undertook a surgical retinal fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in 2004 and am an active member of the British and Eire Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons. I am also an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and an experienced cataract surgeon. I am currently principal investigator for 2 national clinical trials in Hull and take an active role in teaching and training. I am married with 3 children, 3 Springer spaniels and am actively involved in our local church. My outside interests include vehicle restoration, cycling and music.
