Counselling, in a supportive and collaborative way can empower you and help you grow in self- awareness and resilience.The foundation of my work is in Person Centred Counselling, which means you talk about whatever you feel comfortable with. You are the expert on you and we work together with what you feel is important. However, because no two people are the same, we are all unique, I may blend other therapies to help you find your way and move forward. These include creative therapies; Inner Child work; TA; Gestalt; Psychodynamic and CBT techniques.My diverse and varied counselling experience has equipped me to meet the differing needs of my clients, who include young children; adolescents; adults and the elderly.I have undergone intensive, specialist training in working with men, woman and children who have suffered sexual abuse and the  traumas that are the result of this. These can include P.T.S.D., self-harm, anxiety, depression, problems within relationships and suicidal feelings.I am also a qualified teacher with a specialism in Early Years and a registered counsellor with the Infant Loss Foundation.
