Rebecca Hardt is a Licensed Marriage and family therapist specializing in Perinatal Mental Health. I see myself as a conduit for change. I work collaboratively with clients as they uncover feelings, examine thoughts, and modify behavior to become whole in new ways. I am an empath with exceptional conflict resolution and advocacy skills. It is an honor to be able to assist my clients with doing inner work. I am passionate about assisting individuals, couples, and families with transitions in life and improving communication. My approach The mind and body are not divorced from one another. If there is a pain in one area, it will impact the whole. My approach is tailored to whatever clients present with at any given moment. I am trained in an array of clinical theories, and treatment planning is always strengths-based and from an empowered focus. My focus My clinical background includes working with adolescents, couples, and individuals. I have over a decade of experience supporting active duty and veteran military personnel along with their families. Becoming a mother changed me in countless ways and was a challenge I did not anticipate. I am forever indebted to therapists who assisted me as a new parent, so I obtained my perinatal mental health specialization through Postpartum Support International. My new focus is to hold space for persons who are trying to conceive, are pregnant, in the postpartum period, or have loss related to parenting or childbearing issues. My communication style The environment in my sessions is focused, mindful, honest, and vulnerable. I may act as a coach, confidant, advocate, and mirror. I encourage my clients to identify and express feelings during the clinical hour and will often examine thought processes, make correlations to the past if needed and create a plan on how to move toward a new way.
