I believe we all have the inner resources to overcome our challenges and to move from surviving to thriving. Therapy can help you become more grounded, confident and motivated. In therapy you will learn coping skills and concrete strategies to navigate difficult situations, cope with stress and manage your emotions. Perhaps this is even a time to challenge yourself to become the version of yourself you hope to be.We will work together to find the framework that best suits your needs and that you are most comfortable with. I have an eclectic approach and many of the skills and tools we will use are from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.One of the most important factors to a successful and impactful therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client.
