I provide psychological evaluations for all ages, for issues such as ADHD, learning disorders, autism, behavioral struggles, and AG/early admission to kindergarten/home-school assessments. I also provide individual therapy for children and adolescents for issues such as anxiety, behavior struggles, and academic strategies. My therapy approach tends to be cognitive-behavioral, but I'm committed to suggesting the most up-to-date, empirically supported treatments.I have served families throughout the Triad since 2003, in settings including traditional private practice, community mental health, charter schools, and academic services providers. These experiences keep me up-to-date on the latest policies/practices required by Dept. of Education, local private schools, and community resources for education &/or therapy.As a children's ministry director of 12+ years and mother of two teens, I spend considerable time with young people and am able to make them feel comfortable and valued. I'm happy to integrate a Christian perspective, but I'm also perfectly comfortable working with families of other belief systems.
