I am a hugely driven Occupational Therapist with five years of experience within multiple areas of acute physical health. Additionally, I have experience of mentoring both junior staff and students to ensure the development of our profession. After obtaining my undergraduate degree with first class honours in 2019, I completed multiple rotations as a Band 5 at the James Paget Hospital in Norfolk. These included Acute Medicine, Cardio-Respiratory and Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics and Stroke. Thereafter, I sought to further progress my skill set in a Band 6 Trauma and Orthopaedics Role at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital in 2021. Over my year in post, I took on the role of Infection Control Champion for the Occupational Therapy Department, formally supervised a masters student placement and attended a Spinal Cord Injuries Course (courtesy of the Princess Royal Spinal Cord Injuries Centre). On moving to London, I joined the Band 6 acute Occupational Therapy rotation at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, London. I have completed a rotation within Amputee Rehabilitation at Queen Mary’s Hospital and am currently in the Vascular and Surgery team at St George’s (as of May 2023).
