As an experienced therapist in my 40s, my approach is to get to know you as an individual and create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and actions, free from any judgement. I work with adults of all ages, genders, backgrounds and cultures.The counselling and psychotherapy I provide is a solution focused talking therapy where my full attention, empathy, and respect for you will always be present. We will explore your past, and all the types of relationships you have, so you can be more in control of your life in the here and now.The therapy I offer will challenge you to think about how you can change any negative thoughts or patterns that are occurring, so you can live the life you want to lead in a healthier and more authentic way. Being true to who you are and having faith in yourself and your decisions.As a trained Integrative counsellor in Person Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA) the counselling will be a mix of some, or all of these forms of therapy, depending on the issues you bring.It will involve us working together in a collaborative way so that you can make the right choices for you and understand your needs and wants more. This is your time to explore whatever you need to in a safe and confidential space.I will be led by what you bring to the sessions and will support and guide you in that time. Our therapeutic relationship and connection will be key in helping provide the right environment for you to to make the changes you need to for a healthier life.
