I founded the company in 1994 with the goal to provide the best health care and peace of mind to patients and their families in the St. Louis area. Our mission has always been to provide quality, in-home care with a human touch. Our caregivers perform private duty nursing services 24/7 to care for the infirm, and the elderly on a one-on-one, personal basis and assist with their activities of daily living. We want the patient’s families to know they are working with nursing professionals who provide the finest, premium care for their loved ones in the St. Louis area. AccuCare now employs 8 full-time employees, 100 active employees, and over $2 million dollars in annual revenue. Nursing Experience I have extensive nursing experience from working on the general surgery floor for a nationally recognized hospital, to having worked as a senior manager for a private pay health care delivery service company. My Community I am active in a variety of not-for-profit and business organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Giant Steps School for Autistic Children, and a founding member of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) St. Louis chapter. I am a recipient of the St. Louis Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” the NAWBO “Distinguished Women Entrepreneur Award”, Ernst & Young’s “Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award” and Small Business Monthly’s “Top Women Business Owner.” I graduated with a bachelor degree from California State University – Fresno and I currently live in St. Louis with my family.
