My name is Jacqueline Lovell, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in trauma therapy and have a motivational approach to meet the clients where they are at and help them grow and complete the goals, they set for themselves. My approach My main therapy approaches are motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. Helping each client work on their views of themselves and changing some of the ways we think in certain situations. My focus I have worked in many different settings but I love working with clients of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I have worked with the ages of five years old to 50 years old. I prefer working with teens, young adults, and adults. My communication style I create a very calm and respectful environment for my clients' session, where the main focus is them and what they are working on accomplishing. When working with me a client feels like the world is a quiet place and they are just one with their therapist. My journey to mental healthcare Since I was young, I have always loved to help others and be there for them when they needed it most. It was only fitting to make my career all about helping others and following them on their journey to happiness and peacefulness. My career is not just a career, it is my passion, and I love every minute of it. My goals for you I always meet the clients where they are at. I want their goals to be THEIR goals, all well guiding them to find their goals and aspirations. My first session with you A first session with me is a time when I get to know the client and build rapport with them. We start off slow and make the client comfortable, always starting where they are at.
