Dr. Hollie Granato is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, license #29960, providing teletherapy services and in-person treatment at her office in Beverly Hills, California. When she is not providing clinical care, she volunteers her time to mentor and supervise doctoral trainees and psychiatry residents as a voluntary Assistant Professor at both UCLA in the David Geffen School of Medicine and at the University of Southern California. Hollie also serves on varies different research teams and is a consultant on two large-scale CBT and DBT dissemination projects. Hollie received her doctorate from the University of Washington in 2016, where her work focused on addictive behaviors, sexual trauma, and emotion dysregulation. Hollie completed her APA-Accredited internship at the Puget Sound Veterans Affairs Health Care System - Seattle Division, where she sought research and clinical training with Transgender Veterans. She trained extensively with the treatment developers of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, and is currently a certified CBT therapist and trainer diplomate for the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy. Hollie has a strong dedication to working with the LGBTQ community and has previously served as a representative for the Bisexual subcommittee of APA Division 35, section IV. She also has a strong commitment to the training and dissemination of evidence-based practice, and was nominated to be the clinical lead for DBT in Los Angeles county and the assistant training director for the doctoral externship training program at Harbor – UCLA from 2017-2020. She strives to serve the psychological community and is additionally an elected board member of the Southern California Acceptance and Commitment Therapy organization, ACBS.org. In her spare time, Hollie is also a certified yoga instructor, offering donation based yoga classes to mental health providers seeking to decrease burnout and increase their own personal mindfulness skills practice.
