After working in Finance and Business, I made the decision several years ago to retrain as a counsellor. I currently have a private practice in Pulborough and also work as Clinical Director for a community interest counselling group.Everyone, at some points in their lives, could benefit from support. Perhaps you are struggling with relationship and family issues, loss, anxiety, depression, panic attacks or feeling that you aren't coping with life's difficulties. Most people find it helpful to talk things through with someone. It is often most beneficial to talk to somebody who is not part of your everyday life and has no connection to your family or friends.Counselling provides an opportunity for you to explore any problems you may be encountering or past traumas that persist in troubling you. Counselling is not about giving advice but helping someone find their own path through their difficulties. It is about having someone to listen.
