I am a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist, and have started my MSc in Clinical Neuroscience: Neuromuscular Diseases at University College London. Prior to commencing my studies, I was employed in both NHS and Private Community Teams in the United Kingdom. I am passionate about enhancing the health, wellbeing and quality of life of children, young people and their families through enabling and promoting engagement in meaningful activities. I currently have experience working with children with a range of difficulties: motor based learning, early years, and physical and sensory difficulties. Throughout my learning, I have worked with a range of multi-disciplinary teams in various settings and learned the true value of team working within healthcare. I am passionate about service improvement and have worked in collaboration with service- users and other professionals in an exciting QI project seeking to better the customer journey for all individuals involved. Within my studies, I hope to broaden my knowledge of neurological diseases, aiming to help better my understanding and approach in practice.
