So whatever you bring, that's what we explore and work with. No issue is too big or too small if it's standing in the way for you leading the life you want to lead. Together we will help you understand what you are feeling and why. I provide a calm and safe place, where you can be heard and valued, in order to explore whatever difficulties you may be experiencing. I firmly believe that if we know and understand ourselves better, we can work out how to make better choices for a better life.   Couples Counselling;  If you are experiencing difficulties in your relationship and would like to understand why this has happened, couples counselling gives partners the opportunity to talk and listen to each other openly and effectively with a compassionate, non-judgemental therapist present.Relationships are challenging, we have two different wants and needs, sharing a life together. When reality sets in after the falling in love period, it's challenging to face up to our differences and work on the relationship rather than give up and move on.For love to grow, it must change in positive ways. This requires commitment from both partners; relationships are challenging and bring up different and often difficult emotions.Counselling can offer a place where couples can explore issues or problems that had previously felt too difficult or unsafe to open up. With couples who have already decided to go their separate ways, couples counselling can support them to make this happen in the best possible way in these difficult circumstances. I have worked with couples, both opposite sex and same sex, over many years.
