Mr Gidon Ellis, Consultant Urological Surgeon, works within the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. He is highly specialised in all aspects of urology, with specialist skills in the ureteroscopic management of kidney stones, laser prostate surgery (HoLEP), and endoscopic management of bladder and upper tract urothelial cancers.Mr Ellis performed excellently during his initial training, ranking first in the UK National Selection process in 2012. He was selected and underwent his Higher Speciality Training in London for Urology, he spent a year at the Institute of Urology in UCLH focusing on endourology and the treatment of kidney stones. He then proceeded to undertake fellowship training in laser prostate surgery (HoLEP). He was awarded The Urology Foundation Endourology Travelling Fellowship Award for his work.Mr Ellis is an active teacher, serving on several boards for national and international courses in kidney stone management and HoLEP surgery.
