Professor Gautam Chakrabarty is a renowned and respected Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a speciality in knee surgery and injury. The skilled surgeon holds an NHS post at Calderdale and Huddersfield Trust and practices privately with BMI Healthcare. He was awarded his Medical Degree in India where he also completed an extensive rotational scheme before moving to the UK to advance his career and completing a Fellowship with the Royal College of surgeons. Professor Chakrabarty is heavily involved in medical education and is the training programme director for Trauma and Orthopaedics within his deanery and lectures at both a national and international level.
