My approach to therapy is primarily psychodynamic, and includes other therapeutic tools such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and somatic approaches.Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a neuroscientist, so my therapeutic approaches are informed by experience and expertise in neuroscience. I studied how therapy can change the brain and improve symptoms in people who are struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.
