4 years postgraduate experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Experienced in providing assessment and intervention for children with a range of developmental delays and disabilities. Skilled in providing the following therapeutic interventions: goal-directed therapy, bimanual therapy, constraint induced movement therapy, equipment prescription, upper limb splinting and home and school programming. Trained in using the Bayley’s Scales of Infant and Toddler Development (III) with children aged three years as part of a state-wide follow up program for children born prematurely in NSW. This involved recording data collected as part of a district wide research program, and making recommendations and referrals to other services as needed to support the child’s ongoing cognitive, speech and motor development.
