Mental health difficulties can feel lonely and scary, and impact, not only on our sense of self, but also on our relationships. I can offer a warm and compassionate therapeutic relationship where you can explore how you are feeling. I can support you in a process of reflection and help you connect to your inner wisdom and strength so that you can move forward with clarity, calm and renewed confidence.I am an integrative counsellor. My core approach is person-centred; I will be led by you and will draw in what fits best with your needs. This approach has, at its heart, a belief that every person has the capacity to resolve their problems and that this happens naturally within a therapeutic relationship. I can also draw ideas and techniques from Gestalt Therapy, Psychodynamic theory and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I have a particular interest in trauma informed approaches and in the wisdom that lies within our bodies (see my website for more on this).
