I am a passionate occupational therapist with nearly five years of qualified experience and over ten years of experience working within various areas of health care. I have just started a new role as within community mental health. This role enables me to promote healthy behaviours and provide support to overcome ill health and return to function. I have experience in a variety of tertiary care and community settings, including fast-paced acute wards and the Accident and Emergency department. This has provided me with the opportunities to work with a vast patient demographic and treat acute and chronic mental and physical conditions. I am enthusiastic about learning and developing as an occupational therapist and enjoy looking for additional opportunities to further my career, whilst helping others.
