Mr Dan Arvinte is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Bedford, UK with a special interest in hip and knee replacement (lower limb arthroplasty) and revision (re-do) hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as knee arthroscopy (key-hole surgery). He had his Orthopaedic training in well recognised centres from Romania, Austria, Belgium, Japan, Hong-Kong and United Kingdom. He is also Fellowship trained in hip and knee replacement surgery and knee arthroscopy. He practises evidence-based medicine, has excellent communication skills and is passionate about enhanced rehabilitation (early discharge) after hip and knee replacement surgery. To date he has performed more than 1000 hip and knee replacements and his results in the UK National Joint Registry are very good. Mr Arvinte is a Regional Clinical Supervisor for medical students from Cambridge University and a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for junior doctors from the East of England Foundation Programme. Mr Arvinte has delivered multiple presentations at national and international meetings and is published in well-recognised peer-reviewed Journals. Outside medicine, he is a passionate tennis player and has enjoyed competing successfully in local and regional competitions for Riverside Tennis Club, Bedford.
