Clinical Quality Lead - Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist Associate Lecturer, Sheffield Hallam University (Health and Wellbeing: Occupational Therapy) Specialist Advisor, Care Quality commission Physical Health and Well-being Practice Development Open and Honest Care: Driving Improvement Programme Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist Forensic Services (RDASH) with wide experience of developing, leading and delivering clinical mental health services. I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1992 and have worked in Learning Disability, Forensic Mental Health, and Adult Mental Health (community and in-patient) Services as a clinician and leader. Since 2008 I have been Physical Health and Wellbeing Practice Development Lead working autonomously across a number of business divisions and clinical services. Involvement in quality Improvement initiatives I am committed to practice development and the delivery of quality services for patients. I have led specific quality improvement projects such as the Productive Mental Health Wards Programme. I am a Clinical Specialist Advisor (Mental Health) for the Care Quality Commission, providing specialist advice and input into regulatory inspections and investigation activities to ensure services are of a high quality. I provide clinical supervision to a number of practitioners and am a mentor to MSc Occupational Therapy students.
