I have spent the last 3 years working as an occupational therapy assistant at MerseyCare Whalley. Working in a secure unit brings unique challenges. But, there's nothing that validates my efforts more than seeing the therapy benefit our clients. Caring is my passion and having spent much of the last decade working in the care sector I have developed a broad skill-set. I've worked in residential homes, community care, and mental health support work. It's hard work, but some of the most emotionally rewarding.
