I am currently working for a social enterprise in Kent within an acute hospital setting, I work with a mixture of patients from the young to the elderly, each of this individuals have a mixture of condition requiring individual needs. This setting can be very challenging at times and requires effective time management. I on a daily bases complete standardised and non standardised assessments, I also have the skills to grade activities and adapt environments, I will also have the skills to issue equipment to an individual to allow a timely discharge home from hospital safely. Through out my working life I have worked in a number of different settings from shop, schools, nursing homes, residential homes, acute mental health settings, community mental health and hospital settings. I have worked with individuals from all ages, background and religion. One of my many strengths is that I treat everyone as an individual and work in a person centred way. Some settings that I have worked in with individual have been challenging and this has enabled me to learn from my experiencing as well as developing myself and my practice through reflection. I am a qualified practice educator and always take the opportunity to aid not only my own profession but other professionals with they training along with sharing my skills and knowledge to aid they development.
