What most of us want in life is to be seen, heard and understood. What we need in times of struggle is curiosity and compassion, not to be left to fend for ourselves. None of us are meant to carry the hard and messy parts alone. My goal is to help my clients to understand themselves, cope with emotions in a healthier way, and to promote a healthier mindset to shift out of thinking patterns that may keep them stuck. Moms who struggle with parenting can misinterpret this as a sign that they are not good enough; judging themselves which only leads to more distress. I strive to create an open and healing space so that women can feel safe to explore the complex demands around motherhood.My treatment approach to client care is relational and collaborative. I work with my clients to help them understand their current barriers, to be better able to self reflect, and to feel empowered enough to keep taking small steps towards meaningful change. Growth is an ongoing process, and we often need encouragement to take that first step.
