I have 25 years of clinical experience in various mental health, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and private practice settings. I utilize the family systems and the cognitive-behavioral approaches when conducting individual, couples, or family therapy. I also integrate Christian/Catholic concepts, when appropriate, in assisting clients in finding more meaning and purpose in their lives as well as relief, comfort, and solutions in their daily struggles. I have also been a Qualified Supervisor for MFT and MHC registered interns and have supervised many unlicensed clinicians for the past 17 years.I've been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for the past 20 years. I received my doctorate degree (Ed.D.) in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University Online, Ed.S. degree in Counseling from Barry University, and Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from St. Thomas University.I also provide clinical supervision to registered interns, as I am a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Interns in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.
