Dr Andrea Furst is a British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist and a Health Care & Professionals Council registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist.Dr Furst is based in London and she is the Sport Psychologist for the Great Britain Womens Hockey squad, the professional staff at Surrey County Cricket Club and the mens squad at England Rugby. She is also the founder of consultancy, Mental Notes and leads a team of sport psychologists in the UK, Singapore and Australia. She works in clinical and applied settings, in particular within sports medicine, sports science and high performance environments. Her expertise is in working with top-level clients, mainly elite professional, semi-professional and amateur athletes, including world champions and Olympic Gold medallists.She works with individuals, team and groups and follows a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, including practical activities from recent developments in mindfulness and positive psychology. Her goal is to help athletes perform to their best ability, particularly under pressure.
