Biography
My practice focuses on treatment of individuals who are aged 16 and older. My training and theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral therapy. Treatment is individually tailored to each person's needs. I look to create a warm environment where each person works toward his or her goals.
My practice specializes in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. These include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Panic Disorder. I also routinely treat depression and dysthymia. I also have experience treating trichotillomania, insomnia, adjustment disorders, and chronic pain.
My doctorate was in the field of Clinical-Health Psychology. I also feel comfortable working with people who have medical issues and who also may need to address behavioral modification needs resulting from medical conditions-such as diabetes, cardiac disease. This also includes working on weight management and smoking cessation.
