Description

Are you struggling to create a sense of calm in your life? Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed by a transition or painful life experience: family/relationship concerns, divorce, work change, going to college, identity questions, worry, sadness, grief, a trauma, or illness? Whatever you're facing, life's challenges can leave you feeling overwhelmed, yet there is wonderful potential for meaningful growth during and after the most challenging times. The support of a compassionate, accepting, and authentic therapist can be helpful as you travel this journey towards understanding and healing. The therapeutic experience is dynamic...intense, funny, focused, and at times challenging. Through the process, I want to partner with you as you strengthen your coping skills, deepen your understanding of yourself and your experiences, and enhance your focus on living a life that reflects what you find meaningful and important. In my practice, I use a blend of evidence-based treatment methods to support clients, including mindfulness-oriented models, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Humanistic approaches; EMDR; and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. It would be my privilege to work with you.
