The therapeutic process of talking through life issues with a skilled clinician can provide openings, shifts, and relief that are deeply healing and life-changing. Feeling seen, heard, and understood by another can help one compassionately turn inward to untangle, explore and heal those wounds. There are ways we have developed that don't always serve us.
